For The Fourth Day In a Row, a WMKK Is Found
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
[Source: Generic Bohrok]
Another WMKK has been rescued by a BZPower member. Generic Bohrok has found a White Metal Krana Kal in a Tahnok-Kal set at a KB Toys location in Puente Hills, California. This is the 15th WMKK to be found by BZP members in the past week. Congrats to every member that found one this week. It makes us very happy to know that our members are finding so many metal Krana-Kal. The Krana Scorecard has been updated accordingly.

Earlier in the month when I announced the TRU clearance specials, I mentioned obtaining a bunch of Turaga that were situated on a display. What I failed to mention was that because I purchased all of the Turaga on the display, the manager let me keep it. Obviously the Turaga are old news, but I thought a few readers would enjoy a look at the display.

A Look at the Rahkshi At Toys R Us
By Rich, BZPower Administrator

Over the past few weeks many members have been writing in about finding the Rahkshi at TRU. In fact, a good portion of the TRUs in the country now have the Rahkshi. Before today, I was unable to find them myself. So if you are like me and didn't see the Rahkshi in store yet, you can see exactly what a messive supply of Rahkshi look like in the image. They are $8.99 and are probably available right now at your local TRU.

A little more than a week ago I announced that I was a guest of the LEGO Company at their HQ in Enfield, CT. Today I’m going to start a series of reports on exactly what LEGO Sales HQ in the Americas is like, what kind of stuff they do there, and what I got while I was there in terms of product and information. For today, I’ll start off with the place itself.

Misprint Rahkshi CDs
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
[Source: Neo Convoy, Areo Crunch]
Because the Rahkshi are now hitting store shelves, members have been writing in about an error pertaining to the Lerahk sets in stores. It seems that Lerahk sets that contain CDs actually contain what apprears to be a Kurahk CD. The printing on the CD itself looks like a Kurahk CD, yet the data contained within is the intended Lerahk data. The situation is the same for Kurahk sets with CDs. They have Lerahk prints on them and Kurahk data. If we get more info on the error, we will pass it along. UPDATE: It apprars to be the same situation with Turahk and Panrahk CDs.

Yes, I can’t believe it either. Earlier today I found a WMKK in a Nuhvok-Kal set at a KB Toy Works in Marlboro, New Jersey. However, there is something odd about this WMKK. In fact, I have reason to believe that it may be a misprint.

MoL Production Journal v.2 Added

Shadow Kraata Promo Update
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
We first received word about a Shadow Kraata promo at Target about a month ago from BZPower member and Bionicle Comic Writer Greg Farshtey. However, now I've received some more info on that promo that I can share with you. The promo will consist of a purple 7th stage Kraata -- the most powerful of all. It will take place in late November or early December at Target locations. It will be found in clearly marked Rahkshi canisters. While this is the current plan, anything can change because the promo is so far off in the future. More details as we get them.

Blue Matatu, anyone?
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
I've decided to let go of another of my misprints. This time I am selling a Blue Matatu on eBay.. There is about 1 day left, and the price is only at a little less than $14.00. This is a great chance to own a rare misprint collectable. Furthermore, since a few people have asked, the BZPower card is included in the auction if you request it.

Although the two most popular new sets were reviewed earlier in the week, not to be forgotten is this set. Jaller and Gukko, a set that is available right now through calling US S@H is here for you judge. So sit back, relax and enjoy this review of a Matoran and his bird.

More TRU Clearances
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
Earlier in the week I wrote up what I hoped would be a complete list of Bionicle clearances at TRU. However, as I traveled to more TRU locations, it became apparent that even more sets are on clearance at the toy retail giant. The Turaga are $1.98. I was lucky enough to find a few dozen of them at a remote TRU in a display, but finding them is very difficult. Also, the Nui Rama are now only $3.98, a savings of about $11.00 off the original price, and the Manas are $29.98. If you can find any of these sets at your local TRU and want to save money, pick them up!
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
A few times per year, Legoland California has a tent sale. They set up a large tent in the park and invite people to come purchase older stock at a discounted price. This time around, two Bionicle items are in the sale, and mfuss903 has supplied us with images of those two sets. Read on for details.

All Six Rahkshi Available at Amazon.com
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
All six Rahkshi are now available at amazon.com. As BZPower previously reported, the Rahkshi have been shipped from the warehouses and are now enroute to distribution centers and retail stores if they haven't arrived already. Amazon.com is the latest to get the new foes. You can find them there by searching for each individual Rahkshi name as they are not listed under the Bionicle section yet. They are $9.99 each, $1 above MSRP.

Cover art for Bionicle: The Game
By Kelly, BZPower Co-Owner
Unlike our other recent daily pictures, we've seen this one before, but BZP hasn't published a high-res version until now. This shot clearly shows Takanuva with his staff of light in Game mode. Notice the two fingers, an interesting holdover from the original Toa, which Takanuva never had in set form. Like the others, the Seventh Toa looks buff and Gundam-ish, ready to go head-to-head with the Rahkshi and Makuta on the gaming platform of your choice in October 2003.

Are you eyeballing me, mister?
By Kelly, BZPower Co-Owner

Careful what you look for, you might find it. Takua is confronted by a glowing pair of red eyes, which are shaped just like Makuta's mask. Imagine Takua the Chronicler's report: "Makuta's stony visage appeared from nowhere, glaring at this reporter with unmasked malevolence." Or, as Lord of the Rings' Sam Gamgee might say, "That's an eye opener and no mistake!"

Rahkshi Shipped From Warehouse to Stores
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
Yesterday I received word from an employee of The LEGO Company that the Rahkshi were shipped from LEGO two weeks ago. Typically it takes 4 weeks for sets to go from the LEGO distribution center to store shelves, but he said it is more than possible that these sets have begun to hit stores now. It appears they have done just that as we have reported two days ago that the Rahkshi have shown up at a Walmart in Queens, NY. If you could not buy the Rahkshi from S@H, you will have your chance within two weeks.

I visted three TRU locations today, and all three had something in common. Many of the LEGO sets in the stores were stickered with a coupon good for $1 off any $5 LEGO purchase. Fortunately, the coupons are easily peeled off, and because it is a manufacturer coupon, you can get the discounted offer at any store that sells LEGO and accepts coupons. The coupon is good until 12/31/03 and cannot be combined with any other offer. To see it, view the full story page.

The problem to date, though, has been finding all this great information... so we've created a searchable question/answer database of GregF's answers to questions by BZP members. Special thanks to BZP moderator Mahalis for compiling the data and creating the search function.

BZPower's 5th Giveaway: Reliving the Past
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
Back when BZPower news was still Kanohi Power, we had our first giveaway. In the first giveaway we gave away Vahi masks. Now that the Vahi has been used in the storyline for the first time, we figured we should give away Vahi masks again. However, it doesn’t stop there. Because the Vahi was used against a silver Krana-Kal we are also giving away a White Metal Krana-Kal. Do you want a Vahi or a White Metal Krana-Kal? Read on.

Parting with a Matatu
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
I've decided to let go of another of my misprints. This time I am selling a Green Matatu on eBay. There is about 1 day left, and the price is only at a little more than $14.00. This is a great chance to own a rare collectable. Furthermore, since a few people have asked, the BZPower card is included in the auction if you request it.

The various retail outlets are stepping up their discounts and clearances on older Bionicle sets to make room for the upcoming July and August releases. Now's a good time to stock up on these sets - but don't run out of cash for the ones yet to be released!

Yes, I am a bit shocked myself. Earlier today, yours truly found a White Metal Krana-Kal in a Levahk-Kal set. Earlier in the year, I became the first person to own a White Metal Krana-Kal when LEGO gave me one of the collectables at Toy Fair. That was very nice of them, but the experience of having one handed to you is entirely different than the thrill of actually finding one. Therefore, this provides me with the perfect opportunity to chronicle the finding of a White Metal Krana-Kal.

The first White Metal Krana-Kal found in a country other than the United States has been discovered by BZP members Kendarath and Koolsnowball at a Sears location in Canada. According to a source at TLC, the only countries that have the WM and SSKK in sets are the US and Canada, so its great to see both countries finally represented. Rahkshi Down Under
By Rich, BZPower Administrator
[Source: Great Spirit of Air, darkua exo-toa]
We've received two independant reports that all 6 Rahkshi are now available at K Mart locations in Australia. It is possible that this could be a limited release at just some K Mart locations, but that is unlikely. Also, of note, one of the people that claim the Rahkshi are at K Mart in Australia said the Rahkshi he purchased did not come with the CD.
