The various retail outlets are stepping up their discounts and clearances on older Bionicle sets to make room for the upcoming July and August releases. Now's a good time to stock up on these sets - but don't run out of cash for the ones yet to be released!

Although the Rahkshi are now all available at LEGO S@H in the US, the release dates for outside North America keep switching. They're now scheduled for full release on either 7 July or 15 July.

One other note: The new NHL Hockey sets utilize quite a few Bionicle-originated pieces, especially in the armor and claw department. If you're looking at picking up some new sets for MOCs, check these out.

• Gali (the original) is still on sale for US$4. (If you're looking for Lewa here, he seems to be completely gone - not even listed.)
• Kohrak is likewise cheap at US$4.
• Nui-Jaga is half-price at US$17.50.
• Bionicle Trading Card (Game 1, Game 2 and Game 3 are all half-price at US$7.50.
• All the pens for the original Toa are half-priced at US$7.47: Gali Pen, Kopaka Pen, Lewa Pen, Onua Pen, Pohatu Pen, and Tahu Pen.

• Another awesome deal at Amazon is the Bohrok Va bundle for US$5.29, a savings of 69%.
• Not quite as good a deal but definitely worthwhile is the Manas for US$59.97, 40% off. This item offers free shipping, which helps on large items like this.
• Muaka & Kane-ra are down 38%, to US$49.97, also with free shipping.
