Rich Finds his Third WMKK
 Friday, June 27th, 2003 at 5:52pm by Rich, BZPower AdministratorYes, I can’t believe it either. Earlier today I found a WMKK in a Nuhvok-Kal set at a KB Toy Works in Marlboro, New Jersey. However, there is something odd about this WMKK. In fact, I have reason to believe that it may be a misprint.
I have seen a total of 5 WMKKs in person. Each WMKK that I have seen has always had a very distinctive bottom. There is an etched out half-circle at the bottom of the Krana. That is one of the features that differentiate between the WMKK and the Sterling Silver Krana-Kal, as the SSKK has a completely solid bottom. However, the WMKK I got today does not have the etched out half-circle bottom. Rather, it is completely solid just like the Sterling Silver Krana-Kal. Take a look at the pic below to compare.
My new WMKK is on the left, a regular WMKK is in the middle, and the Sterling Silver Krana-Kal is on the right. You can see how the middle one is the odd Krana out, but the new WMKK, which should be just like the oen with the half-circle bottom, is just like the SSKK on the right. What this means I do not completely know yet. It could just be a variation in production that marks another wave of WMKKs being released, or it could be a genuine misprint. Either way, on Monday I will consult with some people at LEGO to get an answer. The Krana Scorecard has been updated accordingly.
