    Toy Fair 2009: Bionicle - Part 1
Hot Bionicle NewsSunday, February 22nd, 2009 at 8:14pm by Andrew, BZPower News Manager

Yes, you read the title correctly, this is Part 1 of our coverage specifically on Bionicle. Don't ask me how many parts there will be in total, because I don't know. This is going to be somewhat of an overview, and we'll look at the new sets in more detail later. So what are you waiting for?

    Bionicle

To start things off, outside the main display area were a pair of flatscreen TVs playing some Lego-related videos on a loop. One of these was dedicated to Bionicle. While watching, I spotted the Glatorian Arena preview, the Glatorians commercial that's been airing on TV, the trailer for the upcoming Bionicle movie (which you should all have seen by now), and, of all things, the Mistika commercial from last year. Just so you know the Mistika weren't on display at all.

Also in this area were a few large display cases filled with new sets, and again Bionicle had one dedicated to it. One shelf had the Winter sets, a second had the upcoming Summer sets, and the third had the vehicles and other large sets.

Once inside, I found the Bionicle, like Star Wars, had an entire wall of the booth dedicated to it. On display were, of course the Agori and the Glatorians. Not much new to see here, but take a look anyway.

Of course the main attraction were the new Glatorian Legends sets as well as this summer's vehicles. We'll give you a closer look at these sets later, but here's a glimpse for now.

That's all for tonight's update, hope you enjoyed it. More coverage will follow soon!
