    [Source: Takua11 Hordika]

BZP Member Takua11 Hordika, a member of the Proto Squad, provides us with a review from the latest Proto Squad package.

It was a long day, and I was going about my regular schedule, when I saw the mail man drop off a yellow package. I went to the door, and there it was, the package was finally here! I went into the living room, and opened it up. The first thing I noticed was the Rhotuka Spinner pack! It was obviously crushed during shipment. But I didn't care, the long awaited package had finally arrived!"

    What's in the package?

The package included a big black sheet of paper that explained that the Proto-Squad is changing over to an electronic newsletter. GregF has informed me that they may still ship packages out from time to time, or just electronically send us discounts for sets throughout the year. I personally think that is much better. So we can now get news all the time, and get more set related stuff this way!

It also came with a script for comic #22! And, as I all ready have told you, it came with a Rhotuka spinner pack, and quite cool it is. But, you'll have to read on to see it!

    #8748 Rhotuka Spinners:

The picture on the box is quite attractive. It depicts the spinners flying through a jungle of Visorak webs. It appears that Rhotuka can also be used to snap the webs. Okay, I'll quit making you wait, I'll show you the inside of the box!

You will first notice that the pack comes with five spinners, not three, as LEGO S@H claims. As you can see, four of them are mixed colors, like the 2004 Matoran Kanohi. I would imagine that each color has its own powers, but we will have to wait and see.

As you can see, even Rahaga love new Rhotuka. You can match Rhotuka colors to your MOC's colors for even cooler creations! And, what makes them even better, is that they fly clear over fifty feet if launched correctly. Take it from someone who measured a shot that cleared over 70 feet and still slammed into my wall without losing altitude! These things clearly are a work of art. And, it doesn't hurt to have a few spare ones laying around, because they can get lost easily. I am planning on buying a few more packs, just because they are so cool!

Now, for the moment we have all been waiting for, the script! (Click the images for a larger version.)

I am sorry for the bad images of the scripts. My scanner wasn't working.
