    Bionicle at Comic-Con

Next week's huge Comic-Con International event in San Diego, CA will have some Bionicle sneak peeks, and an exclusive set for sale. You'll also be able to meet some of the people responsible for the Bionicle comics, among other things. The event is being held July 22-25 at the San Diego Convention Center; the Bionicle excitement will be at booth 1829.

Like last year's event, Greg Farshtey will be on hand to meet fans and give out autographed Bionicle comics. Also on hand will be DC Comics artist Randy Elliott from 2:30 to 4:30 on Saturday, July 24th.

The real draw will be seeing exclusive new footage from Bionicle 2: Legends of Metru Nui, including a sneak peek and panel discussion on Sunday, July 25th from 2:30-3:30. Panelists include movie writer Henry Gilroy, directors David Molina and Terry Shakespeare, executive producers Bob Thompson and Jeff Tahler, and all-around-Bionicle-guru Greg Farshtey, who will take questions from the audience. (Read more about the people behind the movies in this special Mask of Light report.)

Attendees also have the opportunity to buy one of 5,000 exclusive Comic-Con versions of Toa Vakama, complete with custom Kanoka disc (see below).
