The Triumphant Return of the Promos
 Friday, February 8th, 2002 at 7:15pm by Mark, BZPower ReporterI dropped a line to Sabre at Lego and he informed me of two promotions that are headed towards a Toys R Us near you (well, one is at least). First we have on that is rather exclusive. If you live in New York City you'll be happy because... on February 16th (next Saturday) the new Times Square Toys R Us will entertain the artists from the Bionicle DC comics and the writer of the comics too. They will be signing posters from 1:30-3:30PM Eastern time. Lego has also said that "there will also be lots of cool giveaways." I only quoted this because I don't want to get emails asking what these other giveaways are. I have no idea. Secondly, from March 8-10 Toys R Us stores across the country will be holding a Bionicle event. First, you will have a chance to try out the Upper Deck CCG (Customizable Card Game). If you try the game you will be given a new Bohrok CCG card and a Krana brain. Secondly, if you buy anything Bionicle-related from the store you will get a Krana collector's poster (probably a lot like the Kanohi one). So, get to your Toys R Us stores next month and support Bionicle. |
