It's no secret that forum activity hasn't been what it was since Bionicle ended. A couple years back we did some reorganization when we unveiled the newly-redesigned forums. Today we're announcing that we'll be combining and moving some things around in an effort to streamline the forum experience. For the full details, please read on!

The first thing to note is that none of these changes are immediate. We'll be working on the transition details gradually. That said, some will likely happen sooner than others.

Music & Movies and Fan-Created Games will be merged into a new forum - Fan-Created Media. This will live in Artwork section of the Creative Outlet. All existing topics from the two forums will be moved into there. Hahli Husky will be the Forum Leader.

The Shops & Kits forum will be closed down. All shops will be moved to General Art (headed up by bonesiii) and all kits will go in Comics (helmed by Windrider).

The Digital Discussion forum will be merged into Media Discussion. All official LEGO media, from books to websites to TV shows, will be talked about in there. All topics in Digital Discussion will be moved over. Hahli Husky will be leading the forum.

Marketplace Banter & Promotions (already a combination of two forums) will be closed down. The price guide and eBay topic will be moved to Buy/Sell/Trade, and any future topics about values of sets will go into B/S/T. Watashi Wa will continue to be the Forum Leader.

Finally, the largest change is that the Voting Booth will be closed as well. Premier Members will be able to make polls in all forums outside the Creative Outlet and Non-LEGO Forums. Contest voting forums will be moved to be subforums of the creative forum they take place in. Existing polls will be moved to the most logical forum.

As I said above, these won't all be happening right away. Some, like the complete mergers, should be pretty quick, while others, like the Voting Booth, will take a little while to get all the new permissions set up for.
