Last week, The Toy Foundation announced the 2023 Toy of the Year award winners, and it should come as no surprise that our favorite building toy was well-represented. The LEGO Group walked away with five honors:
- Construction Toy of the Year: LEGO Disney and Pixar 'Up' House
- Grown-Up Toy of the Year: LEGO The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell
- Infant/Toddler Toy of the Year: Laugh & Learn Mix & Learn DJ Table by Mattel, Inc. & LEGO DUPLO 3 in 1 Tree House by LEGO Systems, Inc.
- STEAM Toy of the Year: LEGO Technic NASA Mars Rover Perseverance
- Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative: Bronze Winner: LEGO Replay
I'm very please to see the social responsibility category, and hopefully TLG manages to earn silver or gold there next year. But until then, congratulations on all the recognition!
