Get ready for a California blast!

The cement trucks are packed up, the yellow ribbon and construction walls are gone, the "pardon our dust" placards stored away, and the paint on the signs are drying. Legoland California is just days away from the Grand Opening of its newest ride, BionicleBlaster! BZP assistant admin mfuss903 and BZP reader Conrad Frank were both on hand last weekend to ride, and have thoughtfully shared pictures (and some video) for your pleasure.
The new ride, a spinning and whirling mass of LEGO Technic-shaped pieces, was recently completed and is scheduled to have its grand opening April 12. The ride is surrounded by fierce-looking Toa Nuva, their metallic forms freshly painted and spiffed up for the grand opening.
The central portion of each enclosure has a steering-wheel type of device which lets you spin the individual enclosures as fast or slow as the riders wish.
Conrad Frank visited April 4th, and he and his son were in fact on the very first run. Below are some pictures he shared with BZPower, including one from earlier in the season when the ride was no more than a big cement-lined hole in the ground.

Not a day later, BZP's own mfuss903 visited and also took the opportunity to ride the brand-new attraction. He's provided video as well (note: the first is from the rider's point of view - Dramamine not required but suggested).
