    Axalara, a Winner Is You
Hot Bionicle NewsThursday, October 2nd, 2008 at 5:52pm by Andrew M, BZPower Reporter
    [Source: Gatanui]

As this year first began, it was the "much-anticipated Axalara T9." As it became readily available worldwide, the set transmogrified into the "widely-praised Axalara T9." Now, as the solar revolution begins its descent into finality, the product maybe recognized as the "award-winning Axalara T9." Industry distribution professionals in France have bestowed upon the big red set the 2008 "Grand Prix du Jouet" ("Toy Grand Prix") award in the category of building toys. "Innovation and novelty" are said to be the chief criteria in the judging process. Certainly this is a wonderful honour for our much-loved Bionicle. Readers lingual in the language can read the announcement on the French Bionicle web site.

Update: for those who don't speak French, a translation:

"Bionicle brings in the Toy Grand Prize with Axalara T9, in the category of Building Toys!

This battle vehicle, driven by Toa Lewa, won over the members of the jury!

With a length of 55cm [22 inches], its two light sphere launchers, and its three arms equipped with lasers and energy field activators, Axalara is ready to crush the Brotherhood of Makuta!

Find Axalara T9 and an exclusive Toa Lewa figure in all stores starting in the month of September."
