Bio-Cup 2023 Preliminary Round Part 6

Another edition of Bio-Cup 2023 Preliminary Round coverage is heading your way. This batch of villains is full of tentacles and teeth and cool building techniques. Check out the photos.
Neonatal Harvester by Cody Avery
Machines entrapping people like this is not uncommon in BioCup, but this MOC does a really good job of selling the deed, with the mechanical body of the machine paired with the organic tentacles. The green vats also stand out; those babies never stood a chance.
The Blood Moon Rises by Will Hafner
Krika blades are always nice, and a full circle of them is quite striking. The tentacles and blades on the silver spectre also work.
Pestilence by Elf Melter
The mouth sticks out the most here, but I think that was by design. The kraata tongue is the real eye catcher, but I also like how the limbs seem to decay away, fitting with his theme.
The Mouth by Margit
Gear teeth have been used a lot in BioCup MOCs, but this guy takes it to a different level with just how many mouths he has. It's clever how they're incorporated across his body, with the ones in his chest being particularly striking.
Bos'n Blasterbrow by Ivan Martynov
A fairly simple character look, but those eyebrows really make him stand out. It's an impressively solid build. Too bad his opponent isn't left standing at all!
Chain-Gun Charlie by Kevin H.
This guy seems more like a funny villain of the week, but the gun in his torso is still a fun take. Plus good use of the Bohrok faceplates on the thighs.
Horgibal, Hellish Hired Gun by doomspawn
This guy has some firepower. While the red devil look is nice, I like the design of the gun itself, which has an impressive flow to it. The inclusion of Bionicle "bones" to the side also helps set the scene.
We've got a lot more MOCs to feature from the Bio-Cup Preliminary Round, so make sure to stay tuned to BZPower to see more of them. Bio-Cup is again going strong this year, with lots of amazing creations. Which builder do you think will win this year?
