Happy New Year! Today we're going to start something a little different and run a bracket to determine the Best Bionicle Toa set. The first round is live and voting will last for the month of January. Read on for more details, or click here to begin voting for your favorites!

We're here to answer the age old question: who is the best Toa? Specifically, we'll be looking at the various Toa sets released across the two generations of Bionicle. This includes the likes of the Toa Mata, Toa Nuva, Toa Metru, Toa Hordika, Toa Inika, Toa Mahri, Toa Masters, and Toa Uniters, and more, as well as Toa that were released in vehicle sets, Toa combiner models, and some official Toa MOCs. Just to round things up, a few Glatorian were also thrown into the mix.

We will run four rounds of single elimination votes between three Toa in each option, similiar to how rounds were run for Bio-Cup. The Toa were grouped up by rank, which was determined by the number of owners of the sets listed on BrickSet. The first round will run for the length of January, the second will run during February, the third will run for the first half of March, and the final round will take place in the last half of March.

This bracket is being run just for fun and to promote some discussion of our theme twenty plus years later. Let us know your predictions and choices, and make sure to select your picks too. And then let us see who comes out on top.
