    Day 29: Vahki Collab
BZPowerThursday, December 29th, 2022 at 8:45pm by Jason, BZPower Reporter

Back in April, there was a collab to recreate the Vahki, the robotic law enforcement from the Metru Nui saga of 2004. The original Vahki sets all shared the same design in new colors, but these MOCs are quite varied. Read on to check out the entries by Ron Folkers, Alex Mertens, Ezreel, and Petersheikah.

    Keerakh by Ron Folkers

    Keerakh

This Keerahk has the same shape of the original set but with some significant upgrades. The smooth limb armor mixed in with the tech heavy body works, and the head is nicely shaped to resemble the original with its jaws. Of course, the pose is most impressive, especially with the effect elements where the staff strikes the floor.

    Zadakh by Alex Mertens

    Zadakh

The Zadakh takes a far different approach to the body design, looking a lot more spider-like as it crawls through the desert regions. Metru brown is not an easy color to build with, and it's usage here works very well on the limbs and head.

    Vorzakh by Ezreel

    Vorzakh

The Vorzakh were always intimidating, and this one is even more so thanks to it's scary jaws. The greeble is quite impressive in the legs, as well as the design of the tail and neck. Watch out for this guy!

    Bordakh by Petersheikah

Bordakh - Pride in the Elite

This Bordakh has a beefier design, making it look quite strong. The head design isn't quite as intimidating as the others, but it makes good use of the Huna. I also like the lit up Inika swords as part of the staffs, which offer a nice lighting effect.

All month long, I'll continue to feature great MOCs from the BZPower Flickr page. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for more amazing creations!
