Earlier today, The LEGO Group announced that The LEGO Foundation invests USD 20million to catalyze innovation supporting neurodivergent children. This takes the form of the Play for All Accelerator, a three-phased program that encourages social ventures, organizations, and social enterprises to propose plans to improve the education of children with autism, with ADHD, and with other neurodivergent diagnoses. The pool of proposals will be reduced in each phase, and ultimately The LEGO Foundation hopes to find up to five new long-term partners that will receive additional funding to implement their programs. This definitely seems like a worthy investment and one that I hope bears fruit!
