LEGO Foundation Supports Children in Haiti and Afghanistan
Hot Bionicle NewsPosted on Sunday, August 29th, 2021 at 1:32pm by Andrew, BZPower News Manager

This past week, The LEGO Foundation and KIRKBI announced a 100M DKK grant to support vulnerable children in Haiti and Afghanistan, which is equivalent to around $15.7M USD. The funds are being distributed amongst UNICEF, the UN Refugee Agency, and Education Cannot Wait. Between the devastating natural disasters in Haiti and the political tumult in Afghanistan, millions of children find themselves in need of assistance and aide. It's heartening to see the two primary owners of The LEGO Group be so willing to support these great causes and assist people in their time of need.
