    The LEGO Group Turned 89... On 810NICLE Day

    When Bionicle Day was started, it was purely because of the digits '810' looking like 'BIO.' But in a perfect coincidence, August 10th is also the day in 1932 when The LEGO Group was created by Ole Kirk Christiansen. Jordan Paxton made a blog entry on the LAN that goes a little bit into the pre-brick history of the company, including their first board game which was meant to teach traffic safety. Happy belated birthday to The LEGO Group, here's to the next eighty-nine years!
