    The Origins of LEGO Overwatch
Hot Bionicle NewsPosted on Thursday, March 18th, 2021 at 11:24am by Andrew, BZPower News Manager

Yesterday was Wednesday, which means we got a new episode of the Bits N' Bricks podcast. This time journalist Brian Crecente and documentarian Ethan Vincent dove into the LEGO Overwatch theme, focusing on sets based on a videogame instead of videogames based on sets. They spoke with Michael Hummel from Blizzard Entertainment and Sten Funder Lysdahl from The LEGO Group about how the collaboration came together, what the development process of the sets was like, the fan reaction, and how awesome it was to have a giant D.Va statue at BlizzCon. There was no news about any future sets or themes, but both sides seem hopeful! You can listen to Episode 15 - LEGO Overwatch: A Conversation on your favorite podcast platform or on the LEGO Gaming YouTube channel.
