Day 19 - The Sunken Idol by Vohdoff

2020 has been a hectic year in many ways, but we've seen some great Bionicle creations pop up, despite the theme being long since retired. From Bio Cup to the Canon Contests, there's been some great MOCs out there, and now we're looking to share a few more. And so we're going to try something a little different this month; instead of featuring images from a LEGO Advent calendar, we're instead going to feature Bionicle MOCs from this year. I spent some time browsing through the BZPower Flickr page and handpicked some of my favorite builds, and I'll be posting one a day for 24 days (sorta) straight!
Day 19 - The Sunken Idol by Vohdoff
Okay, one last underwater themed MOC, built for an aquatic contest. Vohdoff's The Sunken Idol sets the scene with some nice coral designs, with the Cordak ammo being my favorite example. The Idol itself has a simplified robotic look to is, but the reuse of the gear pattern on the limbs and torso really pull it together, and the trident weapon is a nice touch.
Stay tuned for more cool Bionicle MOCs as the month continues!
