    Day 16 - Carapar by T. Jenson
BZPowerFriday, December 18th, 2020 at 2:57am by Jason, BZPower Reporter

2020 has been a hectic year in many ways, but we've seen some great Bionicle creations pop up, despite the theme being long since retired. From Bio Cup to the Canon Contests, there's been some great MOCs out there, and now we're looking to share a few more. And so we're going to try something a little different this month; instead of featuring images from a LEGO Advent calendar, we're instead going to feature Bionicle MOCs from this year. I spent some time browsing through the BZPower Flickr page and handpicked some of my favorite builds, and I'll be posting one a day for 24 days (sorta) straight!

    Day 16 - Carapar by T. Jenson

    Carapar

Following the Mahri-Nui trend, we move onto T. Jenson's recreation of the Barraki Carapar. The first thing that jumps out to me is the head design; a lower jaw is added with a clever use of a red kraata as a tongue. This alone gives the model so much personality. The torso is also adequately buffed up for the strongest of the underwater warlords, and the gold pieces help compliment the original elements. This is truly a Creep from the Deep.

Stay tuned for more cool Bionicle MOCs as the month continues!
