Day 14 - Protect Them, No Matter The Cost by Ziontyro
BZPowerWednesday, December 16th, 2020 at 2:01am by Jason, BZPower Reporter

2020 has been a hectic year in many ways, but we've seen some great Bionicle creations pop up, despite the theme being long since retired. From Bio Cup to the Canon Contests, there's been some great MOCs out there, and now we're looking to share a few more. And so we're going to try something a little different this month; instead of featuring images from a LEGO Advent calendar, we're instead going to feature Bionicle MOCs from this year. I spent some time browsing through the BZPower Flickr page and handpicked some of my favorite builds, and I'll be posting one a day for 24 days (sorta) straight!

Day 14 - Protect Them, No Matter The Cost by Ziontyro

Protect them, no matter the cost.

It's not often that we get a full scene built out for Bionicle MOCs, but Ziontyro provides that with Protect Them, No Matter the Cost. The three characters have some distinct builds, although the long accordion limbs draw my eye first. The landscape design adds to the story by having sections collapsing under the characters. The trans blue pieces as shields are a little clunky, but coupled together with the character's poses and the landscape and you can feel the action and suspense. I can't help but wonder what's going to happen next!

Stay tuned for more cool Bionicle MOCs as the month continues!
