The Great A'Tuin, Four Elephants, and a Disc in the 10k Club
Hot Bionicle NewsPosted on Saturday, July 11th, 2020 at 9:56pm by Andrew, BZPower News Manager

Let's all head to Discworld and visit the fabulous city of Ankh-Morpork! It's been a while since I've read any of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, but there was a time when I was all about his universe that can be best described as The Lord of the Rings meets The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. So that means i'm quite pleased that BrickHammer's Terry Pratchett's Discworld project has achieved ten thousand votes of support on LEGO Ideas. The model captures the look of the rather absurd world perfectly, complete with elephants, a giant turtle, and the flat disc itself. If that seems weird yet fun to you, you should check out the books. There's lots of great techniques in the build too and it makes creating round things out of square bricks look easy. We wish it the best of luck when it gets to its review phase!
