Powered Up Components Available on S@H
Market NewsPosted on Thursday, June 4th, 2020 at 9:31pm by Andrew, BZPower News Manager

We're a little late in posting this, but the news is still relevant. Last week Jordan Paxton shared A Message from the Powered UP Team over on the LEGO Ambassador Network, revealing that individual PUP components could be purchased on LEGO Shop@Home starting June 1st. Since that was three days ago, it means the motors, hubs, and more are available now. They are very expensive, however, to a degree where we can't really recommend you buy them piecemeal. For example, 42099 4X4 X-treme Off-Roader sells for $250 and includes 1 Technic Hub, 2 XL motors, and 1 L motor. Buying those four parts on their own would cost $210. This incongruity has already been pointed out on the LAN, but we'll have to see if LEGO lowers the prices to make them actually worth buying.
