ABS Versus Steel

I've seen LEGO pieces used in some impressive ways over the years, making awesome creations or machines that function just as well as mass-produced or specialty devices. I've also seen LEGO parts break other LEGO parts, and have worn out a few Power Functions motors in my time. But I never thought I'd see LEGO elements and motors used to break a piece of steel over on the Brick Experiment Channel. To be fair, the steel axle does win in the early rounds, but ultimately our favorite plastic parts wear down the iron and carbon alloy until it fails. It's a well-built mechanism and amazing that LEGO can not only withstand, but exert such forces and torques and survive. Go watch the video and see the feat for yourself!
