LEGO Reveals LEGO Star Wars UCS A-Wing Starfighter
Hot Bionicle NewsThursday, April 16th, 2020 at 4:01pm by Andrew, BZPower News Manager

For the past several years LEGO has released a new Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series or Master Builder Series set right around May the Fourth, aka Star Wars Day. This year is no different and today we're happy to reveal that the next Star Wars UCS set will be the 75275 A-wing Starfighter! Jumping right off the screen of The Return of the Jedi and onto your display shelves, this set completes the alphabet fighters from the original trilogy (although with the release of Rogue One we need a U-Wing now). The 1673-piece set will release on May 1st for $200 in the US. For a 360-degree look at the ship, as well as photos and more details, read on!

Considering the price and piece count, this model definitely feels like the 'Star Wars tax' has hit it hard. Compared to the comparably-priced UCS Y-Wing, this set has fewer pieces and looks a bit smaller. Don't get me wrong, I think it looks fantastic and accurate to the source material in a way that minifig-scale A-Wings have never been, it just seems very expensive. Let us know how you feel about this set in the Talkback!
