The Voltron Set that Almost Wasn't
Hot Bionicle NewsPosted on Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 at 2:35pm by Andrew, BZPower News Manager

You may recall that even after achieving ten thousand votes of support, the Voltron idea took several review cycles before it was finally announced as an upcoming LEGO Ideas set. If you ever wondered why, a recent post on the LAN sheds some light on the subject. The designers needed to go through many more than the usual number of iterations to come up with a model that met LEGO quality standards and lived up to the scale of the original idea. It's awesome seeing a variety of the prototypes that were tested along the way to create such an awesome set. Go give it a read and see what you think!
