    Back Attacking Brains
Hot Bionicle NewsPosted on Thursday, October 3rd, 2019 at 11:18am

In between the two generations of Bionicle we of course had Hero Factory. Like any theme it had some great sets and some not-so-great ones, and play features that worked to varying degrees - like the Brain Attack wave. I still see those polybags at LEGO conventions being sold at yard sales and on vendor tables, but something I don't see too much of is 44013 Aquagon, one of the sets from that wave. CZQ felt that the character wasn't getting much love either, and so he made Aquagon Prime. Elements from all sorts of constraction themes are used, like Kanohi from 2004, CCBS elements, and even the shin pieces introduced in the Star Wars buildable figures. They all come together to form a fearsome fighter with a nasty looking hook for one hand and powerful claws on the other. Give it a look and let CZQ know what you think!
