I love Star Wars, and I love LEGO, and I understand that for movie sets the latter tends to be beholden to the former and its parent company, Disney. But why do we need another A-Wing, Y-Wing, AT-ST, First Order Shuttle, and Millennium Falcon? Based on the pictures, a lot of the same exact designs and play features even seem to have been reused from the most recent iterations. Maybe they all play big roles in the film and TV show, but just from watching the trailers I would have at least liked to have gotten Kylo Ren's new TIE Fighter and the Mandalorian's space ship. Both would have been new as well as important. Or if you're going to give us something we've gotten before, at least make it something we haven't seen in a while. The Rise of Skywalker trailer shows all of the main Rebel fighters from the original trilogy in updated forms. We last got an X-Wing in 2018 and the Y-Wing and A-Wing in 2017, but the last B-Wing was in 2014, so why not a B-Wing? Old, curmudgeonly rant over. The sets do look cool, I want some of those minifigs and I don't know why, and the Yoda statue looks awesome in a slightly creepy way. Share your thoughts in the Talkback!
