It's been seventeen years since the release of 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer, at the time one of the largest LEGO sets ever, with over three thousand parts. Today we're seeing 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer, a new version of the iconic ship, now with 4,784 parts and measuring in at 41 inches long! The set will be available on September 18th for VIP members and October 1st for everyone else, but it's going to set you back $700 - not quite as much as the Millennium Falcon, but still a staggering price. For the full press release and images, read on!

This set definitely packs in the detail and is sure to impress with its size, but it's certainly out of reach of most people. And if you're going to pay that much for a LEGO set, I would think most would rather have the much more iconic Millennium Falcon. But maybe I'll be wrong, and like the Falcon it will fly off the shelves later this month. Let us know what you think about it on our Discord and on social media!
